The one God took away

He gave me that beautiful child
Then he took them straight away

I never got to see my child play

I thought Lord that was my job

you may not know that

but in many different ways
they leave a message with us
on ordinary days
a falling feather from the sky
a sense of da ja vu
thinking of a loved one
as they think of just you

a breeze when no wind is due
